• To learn health and safety essentials, fire safety, manual handling, workstation safety and basic first aid.

Course Content

Module 1: Health and Safety Essentials – an introduction to basic health and safety concepts, be aware of hazards to improve safety.
Module 2: Workstation Safety Plus – Learn how to work safely at your computer.
Module 3: Fire Safety Plus – Learn the basics of fire safety, fire prevention and what to do in an emergency.
Module 4: Manual Handling Plus – Learn correct handling techniques at work.
Module 5: First Aid – Learn the basics of first aid in this interactive module. This has been developed in conjunction with St John Ambulance.
